Metacomet Trail up the hill. The trail continues through the forest and then along the rocky ridge. Watch for signs near the towers to stay on trail.
Wetlands are crossed by a log walkway, but the trail can be wet in spots. Climb through the forest and reach the cliffs and boulders at the top of the ridge. The trail follows the ridge and goes over and through some boulders.
Will Warren's Den is a big rock formation with slip fault caves and a cliff with views. This is a great spot for a picnic. Will Warren's Den is just beyond the base of the towers. The cliff and outlook are just past the den. The caves can be found by exploring around the den.
Runners looking for a longer outing can continue on the blue-blazed trail to Pinnacle Rock and the Nike missile site.
