There are pit toilets at the parking lot.

The trail begins near the Auger Falls Park trailhead, but it requires a short run along the maintenance road that leads west from the parking lot. The trail begins with a short climb up a few switchbacks into a rock field. The views are very nice, and the terrain is very manageable. On the west side of the trail, there is a fishing pond that is stocked with various species of fish. It is supposed to be a pretty nice fishing hole because nearly no one uses it.
