If parking is a challenge at the golf course (it hardly is an issue), park at the end of E Meadow Lane Road and start there. You could hop on the trail that starts at the end of the bridge to your right as you head into the golf course.

From the parking lot, head north, toward the driving range. The trail heads up the hill from the chipping green. As you ascend the hill you'll meet the transmission line and start heading east. The trail will head into Rocket Gulch. This is diverse in terms of vegetation and wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for quaking aspen and maybe a moose!
