Need to Know

There is a nice parking lot with signage but no restrooms. The nearest restrooms are at the Short Stop gas station and cafe, which is also a great place to refuel both yourself and your vehicle (also the only place).

Description

The trail is short and simple but the attraction is the wildflower/pollinator habitat being restored to the area. The trail is connected to another trail that goes down to Beaver Lake, in case visitors are looking for more adventure and exercise. There is a large blackberry patch near the trailhead that is great for picking around late June. The site is a designated monarch butterfly waystation.

Flora & Fauna

Wildflowers, deer, birds, butterflies, and other pollinators.
