Description

As shown here, the trail starts at the Nachtigall (Nightinggale) restaurant. The forest road then runs gently uphill through the Schwarzwald (Black Forest) until you reach a major trail intersection at the Binsenwasenhütte. The Binsenwasenhütte is a small rest shelter (no services) located in a clearing of the forest. It makes a good place to stop for a picnic.
