This is one of the many forest roads traversing the Schwarzwald (Black Forest). As mapped here, the trail starts at the Haidenell Hütte (mountain hut; shelter only) and runs along the contour before plunging down to the Nachtigall (Nightingale) restaurant. Numerous forest roads intersect at both ends of this route.

The restaurant has a Biergarten and also rents simple rooms. You'll have to cross the paved Badner Straße (L78) to get to the restaurant.
