Need to Know

There is ample parking and a fully serviced chalet nearby.

Description

The trail is mostly quite level but there is a ridge mid way that prevents it from being called an entirely easy trail. Branch off Snowshoe Trail D1 and cross Dogberry Lane. Pass the intersection with C6 and soon after cross Rabbit Run. The trail travels in the middle of Rabbit Run ski trail loop, connecting with snowshoe trail C4. Experience being entirely surrounded by trees. This is one of the few trails without the iconic view of Gosling Lake, Lake Melville, and the Mealy Mountains beyond that is glimpsed from most other trails but it's sheltered on cold, windy days.

Flora & Fauna

The forest is consistently black spruce.
