Overview
The Fendley Trail Loop A is a 8-mile loop trail located near Chesterfield, Virginia, in Pocahontas State Park. The trail is wooded with scenic views of a lake and a number of creeks. The terrain varies throughout the route, and there are a couple of easy creek crossings.

Easy parking at the boat ramp parking lot.

Description
The Fendley Trail Loop A trail features a view of Swift Creek Lake at the beginning of the route. To make the early part of the run more interesting, this route includes part of the
Forest Exploration Trail and offers views of Swift Creek Lake from a higher elevation and includes a small creek crossing. Fendley Trail offers a variety of hilly terrain and Loop Trail A offers some additional scenery and distance.
All-in-all, if you are looking to put some miles on the trail, this is a nice run. The woods throughout Pocahontas State Park are just beautiful.
