This is also called the Fremont National Recreation Trail #160 and is designated as such on some maps. Mountain bikers refer to it as the Oregon Timber Trail. Because of wildfires, beetle infestations, harsh weather, and sporadic maintenance, local conditions vary widely along the trail and through the seasons. Some segments may be hard to distinguish and others are very primitive. It is generally not considered, with some sections excepted to be an easy trail to follow.
