The trailhead is at the Ojo Caliente Resort at the end of the walkway by the Artesian Restaurant and springs entrance. There's a short steep pitch at the start as the trail climbs a wash, besides that it's pretty flat and easy going. It crosses another drainage then a terrace above the Rio Ojo Caliente to the site of the P'osi Ouinge ruins, then loops back around with some amazing views.
