Need to Know
The first section of the trail passes by an archery range. Don't wander off like a toddler.
Runner Notes
This is a good even trail with some cobbles and roots.
Description
Follow the U-shaped blue horseshoes to keep on the trail. Along the way you'll encounter two n-shaped horseshoes that indicate connectors of shortcuts along the trail.
From the parking lot, head downhill until you find the Blue
Connector Trail. Go left around the hill until eventually reconnecting with the Blue
Connector Trail. After close to 2 miles you'll come to where the trail eventually doubles back to itself. Head left and in sequence you'll pass the
Orange Trail,
Orange Connector Trail, and then the other side of the
Orange Trail; all on the left.
From there the trail turns back west and passes another blue
Connector Trail to the right. Here you turn south down to the lake. After following the lake you'll go back north and pass some trails before revisiting the beginning of the trail.
