Dogs Leashed

This short trail climbs out of the parking lot and winds up over a hill so you can avoid the Old Reservation Road (paved) climb out. It starts out very sandy and has a couple of short, steep sections but after the first one you'll come up on a nice view of the Salinas River and the valley beyond.

The trail splits after the second short steep climb, but no worries as both trails take you to the same place. To go up and over the hill (this track) go left. To climb a bit less and go around the hill (but a bit more sand) go right.

The trail ends at Old Reservation Road.
