Need to Know
There are few springs along the way, so if it's hot, at least 2 liters of water are reommended.
Description
The course is composed of four sections and the altitude gain is 2,275 meters.
The course is between Muntele Băișorii Mountain Resort in Cluj County and the mountain villages of Săgagea and Belioara in Alba County. I would like to specify that on many maps, the village of Belioara appears as "Poșaga de Sus," the name of the commune with the town hall in Belioara, a commune name that does not exist anymore!
This run will take those who do it in full through several forests, uphill on a ski slope, in a very remote but traditional Romanian village and along one of the most beautiful areas in Apuseni mountains, Scarita Belioara reservation.
Flora & Fauna
As anywhere in the Apuseni Mountains, wolves and bears can be seen, along with small furry animals like foxes, sheep, beavers, and so on.
