Runner Notes

This smooth trail is relatively fast to travel

Description

This trail is nicely paired with Russet Lake Trail and Singing Pass Trail to make a full value adventure.

The easy way is to pay for the gondola to the top of Whistler Mountain and then run High Note Trail to this junction at Flute summit. The hard way is to run up Singing Pass Trail and bag Russet Lake before running this trail to the top of the gondola and riding it down (for free).

This trail is straightforward from a route-finding perspective. Each junction is well-signed and obvious. There are 2 moderate climbs over each of the musical bumps and limited access to water throughout.

Enjoy this route midsummer to see the wildflowers.

Flora & Fauna

Wildflowers, eagles, marmots, and maybe the occasional bear.
