Overview
The 50K consists of a short loop up
Misery Ridge initially and passing the flanks of Monkey Face before taking a trip out to the Grassland. Total elevation gain is 4,500 feet and loss is 4,500 feet. 85% of the course is on singletrack trails and 15% on doubletrack and dirt roads. There are 4 fully stocked aid stations.

Canyon Trail, cross bridge,
Misery Ridge Trail, right on
Mesa Verde Trail, left on
River Trail, cross bridge, access road,
Rim Rock Trail,
Rope-De-Dope Trail,
Canyon Trail, road to river, cross bridge, left on
River Trail,
Summit Trail, Gray Butte Trail, Forest Service Road 1395, Forest Service Road 57, Cole Loop Trail, Gray Butte Trail,
Burma Road,
Wolf Tree Trail, cross bridge, access road to
Rim Rock Trail to FINISH!!
There are 4 aid stations along the 50K course. Each will have the usual ultra food selection: chips, PBJ, bananas, oranges, Skout bars, Muir Energy gels, Tailwind electrolyte drink, water, soda and other items. All Alpine Running races are cupless, so be sure to bring a cup with you.
