Need to Know
No water along the route, but there are lots of benches, gazebos, and pagodas to take a load off if you need to.
Description
Take the blue line to either Chai Wan or Shau Kei Wan. Look for the Number 9 bus or the red mini bus and take it to the trailhead -- you'll have to request that the driver stop there. Get out and you'll see the trailhead sign and a map board.
From there, head up the stairs and enjoy the run! The first part is a lot of stairs and vertical, but then it's mostly downhill with gorgeous views. When you end at the bay, go for a swim or grab a beer and a meal at the cafe ... if you're so inclined, they rent surfboards and body boards, too.
Flora & Fauna
Butterflies, dragonflies, banana spiders, some birds, and at the ocean, little blue crabs.
