Orange trail markers help you navigate the trail (particularly if the clouds set in).

Quite a steep with some scrambling.

The trail is a bit hidden as it starts behind the Arthur's Pass Outdoor Education Centre.

You start out by traveling up along the creek for the first 0.5 miles.

The trail begins to turn south until it make the ridge which you follow for the next mile.

Soon after the trail flattens out, it turns north and then switch backs its way up a steep section before flattening out again and turning south to make the summit.
