The south trailhead must be accessed via the Pines Trail - South (T568), but parking is available at the north trailhead if you have a high clearance vehicle that can drive the 0.25 mile down the slightly rugged FSR 206C.

The south trailhead is at the halfway point of the Pines Trail - South (T568), and the north trailhead is at FSR 206C. The trail is a mostly dirt singletrack that is occasionally rocky that runs through the forest. The trail is open to running, horseback riding, biking, and dirt biking.

The south trailhead must be accessed via the Pines Trail - South (T568), but parking is available at the north trailhead if you have a high clearance vehicle that can drive the 0.25 mile down the slightly rugged FSR 206C. We parked at an open area off of FSR 568 near it's intersection with FSR 206C and went down FSR 206C to the trailhead which is marked with a T5688 signpost at the edge of the road.

There are short connector trails that connect this trail with the Osha Trail (T10) and the Pines Campground. Running down FSR 206C from the north trailhead also allows access to the Switchback Trail (T5004) and the west trailhead of the Bailey Canyon Trail, while running up FSR 206C from the north trailhead and turning left on FSR 568 allows access to the east trailhead of the Bailey Canyon Trail.

Mostly evergreen trees, but enough maples, oaks and aspens to get a glimpse of fall colors, wildflowers, deer, squirrels, birds, butterflies.
