Overview

Rough Trail has its name for a reason. With multiple 400-500 ft. climbs in and out of Red River Gorge, runners get plenty of vertical on classic singletrack!

Runner Notes

Steep, narrow at times, and technical.

Description

The lollipop loop course is a challenging route and aptly named. The trails included are Silvermine Arch Trail #225, Hidden Arch (#208), Koomer Ridge Trail #220, Buck Trail #226, Pinch-em Tight Trail #223, Gray's Arch Trail #205, and Rough Trail #221. The route has a lot of challenging ups and downs along the way as you wind through Red River Gorge. The scenery is outstanding.
