Runner Notes
Trail is wet and rocky.
Description
The trailhead parking is located at the end of Sargent Creek Road near the bank of Sargent Creek. The trail starts as an old road then after about 0.5 miles it divides and crosses the creek. The trail is well-marked with signs.
After the crossing (no bridge, about a foot deep depending on flow), the trail is much smaller and is well rutted from 4-wheeler traffic. Some sections are steep and rocky, others are muddy with flowing water. After the first ridge, the trail improves with great views. In spots, you get a good view of both Larson and Womans Bays
Flora & Fauna
Watch for goats on the higher peaks and bears near the creek during salmon season.
