Description
This section of the SRK G starts off the west end of the
Kearsarge Valley Trail, in Wadleigh State Park. The trail follows west along Penacook Road, along the south edge of Kezar Lake. At King's Hill Road, the trail follows the road to the left. Here (to the right), there is also an optional loop for the Muster Field Farm Museum. Following along Kings Hill Road, you'll pass by a small parking area (on the right) and the entrance for the Kings Hill trail system. From here, the trail coincides with Snowmobile Corridor 390 to the top of Kings Hill Road.
Here, at the top of the road, 390 leaves along the road to the left and SRK G continues straight. It skirts around the rock barricade and follows along a rough road. It passes by a few cellarholes, between the mountain pass, and continues to Stone House Road. Follow Haynes Road straight until you reach Baker Hill Road. Take a left on Baker Hill Road until you reach the sign for
Stoney Brook Trail. The SRK G follows the tread of
Stoney Brook Trail to its end at the parking area.
