Need to Know

About 4 miles down the road is an amazing oyster restaurant (Hama Hama oyster) and about 14 miles up in Quilcene is a wonderful deli called the Gear Head Deli for lunch or early dinner.

Description

The trail starts easy, passing by a cabin that was build in 1906 (it's rentable) and amazing large nursing trees and very mossy trees that look enchanted. It has two small climbs that are easy for families or beginners. The highlight of the trail is an amazing view of the fishing hole and some very mild small rapids. When you are done enjoying the fishing hole, head back the way you came.

Flora & Fauna

Roosevelt elk, birds, possible fish lots of mosses, ferns, nursing trees, mushrooms.
