Trails feel more like they are for mountain biking but otherwise still a fun trek through the woods.

Overview

Long loop through the mountain with changing elevation, crosses over a river to connect Red Trail to the loop. We particularly enjoyed the Lower Loop (Green) part of the loop as it had a few crossings near small waterfalls/streams.

Need to Know

Plenty of parking at the trailhead. Further up after the road closure was a porta-potty.

Description

Overall well kept trails, even though we were there during the off season. The trails are definitely more geared towards mountain biking with the spacing of blazes and overall trail feel, but still provided a nice run. Some blazes had fallen and were propped up against trees. There are multiple older trails that intersect with the current trail and it is easy to end up on the wrong path at times. Some nice wildlife and a river crossing with a well built bridge. There is no view. Muddy trails and some rocks present, wear good shoes.

Flora & Fauna

Saw multiple tracks and several groups of deer.
