Overview
This section of the
Fox River Trail provides a nice option for those in the Appleton area to hop in their car and be on a trail in just a few minutes. This run is mapped as 6 miles out and back, but those wishing to go farther or shorter can simply turn around and head back the way they came when they feel compelled. Along the route, expect to see plenty of pleasant agricultural land and pleasant trees alongside the trail.
Runner Notes
This run provides runners with an awesome option for getting their mileage in without needing to worry about cars on the road etc.
Description
Starting at the parking area at the junction of Klaus Street and Follett Street in Greenleaf, head left (north) along the crushed limestone trail. When you decide you're ready to head back, simply about-face and return the way you came.
History & Background
