Need to Know

This is a difficult run in the wilderness. There are no facilities or water access so be sure to bring your own.

Description

This nine-kilometre trail offers a challenging run through the boreal forest, up cliffs that provide spectacular views of Lake Superior, and across an untouched cobble beach.

This trail was just finished in 2019 and is one of the most strenuous and rewarding runs in the area. The trail is very well marked with blue blazes. Parking can be found at either end of the trail. The trail starts just across from the parking lot at Little Trout Bay Conservation Area.
