Little O'Malley Peak summit is just over two miles from the popular and busy Glen Alps trailhead. Its a great option if you're looking to summit something but don't want to get too far out.

$5 parking fee or an annual parking pass.

Start from the Glen Alps trailhead and head out on the connector to Powerline Pass Trail which you're only on breifly before hoping onto Middle Fork Loop Trail. Once you reach the junction with O'Malley Peak Trail you might want to take a minute. While the run up to this point has been rather mellow in grade, that is about to change. In contrast to the first mile of the run, the second heads straight up the side of the ridge to reach the pass. No switchbacks, just up. Once you reach the pass you'll have several options. Take a left to quickly navigate the now easy grade to the summit of Little O'Malley Peak.
