Easy for running.

Description

This easy walk up a Forest Service road from the BMT crossing gives the runner or backpacker access to a site of a previous fire tower on an open knob with a 360-degree view of the surrounding mountains. There is a picnic table available as well.

Flora & Fauna

Wildflowers are common along the road and up on the bald. Occasionally wildlife such as turkeys can be seen along the way.
