Description

As with any ridge trail, getting up there is half the work. Once at the ridge you are rewarded with views on either side of the trail. Part of the trail was very rocky and technical. Other parts were smooth and fast. The trail, as with the whole system, is very well marked with trail signs and maps at most intersections. Note that the White Oak Ridge Trail is part of two loops - the Yellow and Orange route. To get to the starting point, take the Dogwood (white) to Kereb (red) and then Copperhead (grey). Check the map at the trail system entrance.
