Run along the famous 4000 steps from the old town of Valleraugue to the highest peak in the area, Mont Aigoual.

The trail starts by stairs then become a mountain type of run with very lovely sceneries with a 360 view from the top.
A big chunk of the trail is uncovered so this run is usually not done during the hot summer though with spare water and a good hat it's still nice to do and you'll enjoy the fresh air in the forests.

Don't go too fast during the 1st 30 min since it's pretty steep in some parts. On top there is a restaurant, check if it's open. In summer I met only 15 others during on this trail.
