Description

This trail starts at the Rodeo Beach parking lot parking lot and makes its way uphill eventually reaching an old World War II Nike missile radar station. Initially the trail starts out as a wide paved road. At about 3/4 of a mile from the trailhead it turns into a dirt trail in order to avoid several landslides. Please note this section of the trail includes a steep staircase. At approximately the 1.15 mile mark the trail reconnects with the old paved road leading to an easier final ascent towards Hill 88. At the top of hill 88 you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Pacific ocean and the Marin Headlands.
