The north end (trail start shown here) of Summit Lake Amphitheater Access Spur is found at an unmarked trail fork on Summit Lake Amphitheater Trail about a tenth of a mile down the east side of Summit Lake. The south end is signed with an arrow pointing toward the amphitheater.

From both ends, Summit Lake Amphitheater Access Spur goes through the woods for a very short ways to the campgounds' open air amphitheater.
