Description
Starting at the trailhead the trail follows along the Siltcoos River and the Waxmyrtle Campground. The terrain is easy and trail is wide enough for people and pets to pass each other. Tons of great birding opportunities and views so be sure to bring your binoculars.
The first opening in the trees gives a grand view the ocean and the beach ahead then the rest of the trail there are sneak peaks of the ocean until you reach the beach at the end. After hanging out on the beach, trail users can either head back on the same trail or hook a right onto the closed forest service road for a different view back to the start of the trailhead.
