Description
There is a small parking area at the trailhead. The trail starts out at an incline. Once you get into the trail you still have a few steeper sections to tackle, but mostly just gradual ups and downs. The views are great along with all the wildflowers, different tree species, and of course some wild berry plants.
Once you get to the meadow area (actually the Beaver Ponds) you won't see standing water. there is so much vegetation that you can't see the "ponds". Crossing the last bridge to the other side of the ponds, you'll gain a bit of elevation and see the ponds. There are multiple trails in the area that connect with the CDT. The only sad thing is all the downfall. The volunteers were through not too long ago to cleaned up the trail itself. Most of the trail is great singletrack. Some of the inclines have tree roots through, and some small springs that make a little muck.
