Description

This is a short and flat multi-use trail on the shore overlooking the East Branch Clarion Reservoir. It begins at the north end of the parking lot for the boat ramp by the East Branch Dam which is controlled by the Army Corp of Engineers. As it leaves the dam area it becomes a very thin strip of Elk State Park.

There are private homes to the left and private docks to the right. It is dotted with benches, grills, and picnic tables. The entire trail offers great views of the lake and of the dam. The terminus of the trail is an overlook at a bend in the shoreline with a grill and picnic table.

Flora & Fauna

There are many butterflies on the flowers that line some of the trails.
