Overview
The amazing run to Trolltunga starts in Odda. It takes up to two days, but it is an enriching challenge. There is no mass tourism on the trail except the part from Skjeggedal Parking to the Troll's Tongue.
There are many waterfalls that you only can encounter if you chose this route. The mountains Moyfallsnuten and Einseten are exceptional viewpoints to the surrounding lakes and fjord.

Description
I started my three day trek at the bus station In Odda. There is bus number 994, which you can take to skip the first part walking through the village. Get off at the last stop, "Freim snuplass." From the busstation head through the forest up to Freimsstolen. Take the trail to the left up to the mountain Moyfallsnuten. I pitched my tent there and continued my trek the next day.
From the top of the mountain, run to the lake Mosdalsvatnet. It is an excellent spot to take a bath. There is also a small hut and a toilet connected to it. Pass the bridge and follow the trail to the Einseten mountain. Next, continue to the Raudnuten area and take a break at the lake Langavatnet. Here I stayed for another night.
On the third day, I hiked to the famous Trolltunga. Make sure to be there early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid mass tourist groups queueing up for a photo. From Trolltunga, head down to Skjeggedal, where you can take a bus back to Odda.
