Description

This trail starts off Route 2, just opposite Conner Road. Travel through a narrow patch of woods, cross over the tracks, and push through the Poison Ivy. The trail passes the junction and continues straight towards the river. On the bank of the river, there's a bench and a picnic table. It appears that this is as far as most people get, considering the rest of the trail is overgrown and poorly maintained.

Turn left and follow along the esker-like ridge to a large tree with a double blaze. Here, the trail descends right into the ferns. The tread of the trail becomes lost in the Poison Ivy and Stinging Nettles. Head through the narrow gully towards the river. Turn left onto the continuation of the small ridge, following the yellow blazes. The trail travels along the edge of a precipitous embankment back into the woods. Follow the yellow blazes back to the trail junction.
