This is a short greenway trail that follows the middle fork of the Holston River. For the most part, it's a gravel doubletrack that travels through a mature forest with only a short portion to the west being open field and paved.

This is a well-manicured trail that makes travel easy for even inexperienced runners or small children. There is parking at either end, with the west side being more developed with restrooms and picnic shelter facilities.
