Description

The trail goes up North Fork of Ross Fork to a high pass around 8800 feet. The trail then drops down a bit, hitting the junction with the Alturas Lake Creek Trail. The ICT then heads up another pass before dropping down into the Mattingly Creek drainage, which connects with the Middle Fork of the Boise River. The trail heads up the Middle Fork once Mattingly Creek drains into the river.
