Need to Know

Cliffs provide great views but can be dangerous, watch your step.

Description

Access this viewpoint trail via the Webster-Jackson Trail off of Crawford Notch Road. Take the Webster-Jackson Trail about 0.15 miles up and you'll see a sign for this trail to the right.

Along this trail you'll travel over multiple wooden boards and similar features to keep you out of the mud. As of this writing some of the boards were not in the best condition so exercise caution as they may be slippery of falling apart.

This trail is not marked but is generally easy to follow until right near the end. At the end you'll ascent some rocks on your right which brings you out to the overlook.

At the overlook you'll experience excellent views of Crawford Notch in both directions. Be careful you don't want to fall off the cliff while enjoying the view.
