Starting at the Inner Loop trail intersection on the west side, the wide grass trail travels south to a forest. The trail narrows traveling through the forest and then the trail widens to all grass and open prairie and following along house properties.

The trail turns north following along Mill Creek with an open view of the prairie and loops west to connect back to the Inner Loop trail. On the southeast corner this trail connects to the Walnut Trail using a bridge to crossover Mill Creek.
