Limited parking along the highway. No trail markers. Extremely dark and dangerous at night.
Need to Know
It's not uncommon to see nudity at the Hot Springs. Don't go unless your party is comfortable with that.
Runner Notes
Trails are narrow, bushy, and have a lot of loose gravel.
Description
The trailhead is right off of 173 a little past The Pinnacles going north. There is limited parking along the roadside so get there early. The trail is unmaintained and narrow along steep, rocky terrain. Near the end there is an extremely steep section with loose gravel. If you can find it, however, there is a longer, easier route around the steep section. Do not attempt this trail in the dark if you haven't been before. If you plan on spending the day at the Hot Springs, give yourself an hour and a half to two hours before sunset to get back to your car safely.
Flora & Fauna
Birds, bees, and the occasional snake.
