Runner Notes

You may want to stick to the Red Trail rather than running this route, due to tall grass and swampy conditions.

Description

This trail is accessed via the Prairie Pines Preserve trail and provides access to the northern and southern sections of the Red Trail, paralleling the western border of the Prairie Pines Preserve. The Orange Trail, White Trail, and Silver Trail connectors terminate at this trail. There is not much in the way of obstacles, aside from tall grass and wet/swampy sections. The trail is marked with tall steel poles with a yellow marker on top.
