Description
This trail travels along the thin line between the US and Canada up to the Fourth Connecticut Lake. It starts from a small register kiosk behind the US Customs building. It's unclear if you're required to check-in through customs to run this trail, but I'd keep a passport on you just in case.
Though this trail is shown (on TNC's map) as being completely on the US side, it actually criss-crosses back and forth over the boundary. It's a rocky climb up to the
Fourth Lake Loop Trail. Looking at this "lake", it would be hard to believe that this spawns the river that flows all the way to Long Island Sound.
