Description

Loop Trail Cut Off provides a short-cut to get to/from the middle of the 2.2 mile long Loop Trail, to the picnic areas and other facilities in the center of Mt. Madonna County Park. To do this, it starts in the center of the park, at a marked trail junction near the midpoint of Lower Miller Trail, a short trail near picnic and parking areas in the park center. From here, Loop Trail Cut Off descends gradually on a wide path, through the pretty mixed redwood forest for 0.2 miles to reach Loop Trail at a marked trail junction, at the 0.75 mile mark along Loop Trail.

Flora & Fauna

Beautiful mixed redwood forest.
