The first part of this trail is very steep and follows above the road. Once it veers from the road, the trail follows a beautiful, shady ravine with giant trees - very level. Trail is marked. When you enter the sub-village of Nuevo Troncones, keep your dog on leash. There are some rough dogs there, defending their territory. No danger to people, but they may want a piece of your dog!
