Need to Know
This trail is well blazed and each junction with other trails feature painted signposts.
Description
This trail is one of the main trails in the park. It is blazed white and skirts around the wetlands of Bride Brook. This trail begins in the same area as
Red Trail. However, instead of heading through the marsh, it heads on a diagonal westward, paralleling the park road. It then connects with
Blue/White Trail and continues northward. In this area, the terrain is rocky and uneven as it climbs slightly.
The trail loops up around the north end of this inlet of marsh and crosses the
Red Trail. It then turns northward, paralleling Bride Brook. This area is relatively flat and great for viewing the marsh and the birds that live there. The trail continues for a good long while until it passes a stone wall and takes a sharp right turn.
This area is paved and parallels the road to the north. The trail then reaches its terminus at the parking area on Route 156.
