The trail is part of the Debet Canyon trail network. The trail is marked. Brief information on the trail information board is available at the starting points.

Trailhead near Tumanyan town is next to the main highway. The trail goes up to Kobayr monastery (12th century) from where the ancient trail continues up to the rocks until Tsater village. This trail was used by the locals centuries ago. While running the trail you an admire the beautiful landscapes and nice views of the Debet and Martz river gorges. This trail has an intersection with the Transcaucasian Trail on the edge of Tsater Village.
