For emergency services dial 911 or 112. Note that cell service is fine in most parts of the route. Guesthouse accommodation is available in Garni and Goght villages. Wild camping is tolerated throughout the area; please follow Leave No Trace principles at all times. Be aware of snakes, jackals in the area.

Description

The trail connects several interesting places such as the pagan temple of Garni, natural basalt formations called "Stone Symphony", and a medieval bridge.The trail is marked. Brief information on the trail information board is available at the starting point.

From the Garni village, the trail leads to the Symphony of Stones natural monument, here you can also see the medieval bridge leading to the Khosrov State Reserve. The trail continues through the Azat River gorge, on both sides of which you'll meet beautiful geological formations. The route ends at the beginning of Azat Reservoir. On the way back you can choose the road to Banavan.
