Directions:
Go to Kingsland Blvd on the south side of Katy Mills Mall. The road to the park goes behind the Boardwalk Lofts Apartments. The recent development here does not show up on Google Maps, so if you're using that as a guide, it can be confusing. Turn south onto Lakeview Way. Drive past the apartments, the road turns right, then left, and you're in the Park's parking area.

The park and lake is a feature of a planned hotel and conference center, with restaurants, bars and entertainment. The park surrounds a 90-acre lake with trails. Katy Mills Mall is immediately to the north. This trail is on top of the flood control dike that runs along the south side of the park. Once you climb the dike, the path on top is flat and grassy, weaving between trees growing on top.
