Description
This trail is a wooded path around the grounds of the Wadsworth Mansion. It is blazed blue and begins and ends at a connector trail near an informational kiosk.
The trail begins by heading south, passing a brownstone archway by Laurel Grove Road. It then turns eastward, exits the woods, and reenters the manicured grounds. It passes by both the mansion's vista and a small shrine. Next, the trail reenters the woods, passing the pond and over a minimal boardwalk.
While in the woods, the trail switchbacks a bit up Long Hill. The top of the hill is scenic, though all of the views are obscured by trees. The trail descends at a slight angle. As it approaches the main entrance road to the property, it passes a meadow where wildflowers bloom in the Spring. Finally, the trail continues through the woods, until it returns to its terminus.
